DAVID A. BLOCH
My name is David A. Bloch. I went to the Talmud Torah during the 1940's.
I left there  at the age of 11,when we moved further away and had a private tutor
for my Bar Mitzvah at the  Ashkenazic Bikur Cholim when it was at 17th and
Yesler.

I went to the U of W for a short time and entered the Navy during the Korean
War. After 2 years of service I was married and was working  in  the retail
Jewelry business for several years. Eventually,I went into the Pawnshop business
in downtown Seattle and retired about 6 years ago.

I was treasurer of B'nai B'rith Lodge 503 and later I was Treasuer of  Ner Tamid

1971. I was also Treasurer there for several years immediately after the
merger. We also are members of BCMH.  My wife's maiden name was Astrid
