MICOL (RUBIN) BAYER: CLASS OF 1990
I am a first grade teacher at the S/A/R Academy in Riverdale, NY. I married Aaron
Bayer in 2001.

JENNIFER (HELLMAN) FRIEDMAN: CLASS OF 1990
My husband, Simmy Friedman, and I live in Bergenfield, New Jersey.  We have 11
month old twins, Eliana and Shai.  I have been teaching middle school math, but am
currently home with the kids.  I fondly remember Mrs. Betsy Beuthal, who instilled in
me a love for math that I have tried to emulate in my teaching.  I would love to hear
from my classmates and friends and can be reached at
jenh678@aol.com

SARA (TWERSKY) WEISS: CLASS OF 1990
After my SHA graduation I attended the wonderful Northwest Yeshiva
Highschool.

Shortly thereafter, I married NYHS Alum, Chaim (C.D.)Weiss.  We
lived in Far Rockaway for five years where our first daughter, Yael
was born in 1999.  We then moved to Baltimore where we lived for
three years where second daughter, Esther "Esti" was born.

We were thrilled to return to our homeland, Seattle in July, 2002.
Our son, Eli joined our family the summer of 2004.

My husband and I have been directing BCMH's Fabulous Camp Kol Rena
for the past three summers.  Chaim teaches at NYHS while I stay
home to raise my children and eat dark chocolate.

Yael loves being a kindergartener at the Seattle Hebrew Academy in
the same classroom where her Mommy went to school.

You can email me at
stweissny@aol.com.  I would love to hear from
you!

JEFF ALHADEFF: CLASS OF 1992
After graduating from SHA and NYHS, I went to Yeshivat HaKotel, Yeshiva
University, Ner Israel, and Johns Hopkins. Emily and I now enjoy living in Seattle with
our kids and family. I am currently  teaching Chumash at the SHA Middle School and
loving it.  I would love to hear from my fellow SHA Alumni at
jalhadeff@sha613.org

JEREMY HELLMAN: CLASS OF 1994
I am now  living in New York (Washington Heights - YU side of town).  After SHA I
went to NYHS for 2 years, and subsequently to MTA (YU's high school) for 2 years.
Following my graduation from MTA  I spent two years learning at Yeshivat Kerem
B'Yavneh (KBY) in Israel.  I finished Yeshiva University (Psychology major) after 3
long and hard years.  I am currently a 1st year student ("1L" as they say) in Fordham
Law School (Midtown Manhattan), and am studying my brains out - still!  I can be
reached via e-mail at
JerHell@aol.com

BORIS KURBANOV: CLASS OF 1996
I'm a junior at Western Washington University, double-majoring in Human Resources
and Journalism. Bellingham is a lot different from Seattle, although it's not far and also
by Vancouver, B.C. This is the first time in my life that I'm living in a small town, so
I'm getting accustomed to that, plus seeing old buddies from SHA from time to time is
pretty cool. I see Yoni Maslan the most, usually at the REC Center working out... It's
hard to get in touch with a lot of people from SHA because so many people have either
relocated or are unlisted on this site, maybe we can do something about that??
Anyways, I miss everyone from c/o '96 and I hope you guys are all doing well. Drop me
a line if you're in Bellingham! E-mail me at
westcoaster_11@hotmail.com

ELIE GORAL: CLASS OF 1997
After SHA I attended NWYHS for my Freshman year. During my Sophomore year
though I went to public high school at Bellevue High. After that, I decided to return to
NWYHS and finish the rest of my high school career there (graduating in 2001). After
high school I decided to take a year off and focus on the band that I was in. We
released two records that were internationally sold (one of them did rather well in
Sweden actually) and went on a number of US tours.

After that minor sabbatical, I figured it would be best to finish up my education. I
enrolled in BCC and went there for 2 years achieving my AA degree with Honors and
placement on the Dean's List. Once I graduated BCC I decided that I wanted to
continue my education in video production, so I enrolled in the New York Film
Academy and was set to go there in January of 2004. But when my father got diagnosed
with cancer in August of 2003 I made the decision to cancel my plans in New York and
stay here in Seattle with my parents. While my father was sick I did not attend any
school and instead worked at the family business and spent my time at their home. My
father ultimately passed away on February 12th 2004 after a short six month battle
with lung cancer. He was 67.

Since the death of my father I have stayed in Seattle to stand by my mother and
brother.I found a college that offers video production (The Art Institute of Seattle) and
am currently enrolled there (I am set to graduate in December of 2005). My life has
changed drastically since the passing of my father, but I am determined to achieve all
my goals and honor the way he taught me to be a man.

I do still play drums in a band, we are called Blackbelt and play around Seattle
frequently. I really enjoy the school I am in now, I love my band, and I have a
wonderful girlfriend. Aside from the tragic event that has happened to my family, I am
very happy were my life is right now, and I will always look back at my SHA years with
nothing but fond memories. I can be reached at
