President, Ilya Gamel

For over a century, Congregation Ezra Bessaroth has been positively contributing to the vitality and growth of the Jewish community of Greater Seattle. It certainly remains the case today.

Our kehila is about making connections - connections between individuals, families, with G-d, and the Seattle community at large. Aside from our daily services, which are steeped in Sephardic tradition, we provide a constant array of social and educational programming to serve the needs of our diverse membership.

We are a family of more than 200 households from varying backgrounds in just about every stage of life. We welcome new attendees and invite you to explore all that our community has to offer.

If you are Jewish and new to Seattle, let us help you make a connection. If this was your nona and papu’s synagogue, now is the time to connect with your past (and maintain your modern tradition, if you like). We celebrate our diversity and rely on it for strength.

Looking for a house, day school options, the right community – we can help you with that, too. Give us a call or email - we would be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Take the first step and make a connection with us.
